Scrambled Powdered Eggs...

Powdered eggs from a can?

I've told you before how I use egg powder in baking

But how about eating as eggs?

Simply add water to the whole egg powder, get out your little whisk and stir, stir, stir.

Scramble in a buttered pan with a dash of pepper.
Eat just like you would any other kind of eggs.

Which for me involved bacon, toast and cheese!

Normally when someone is out of a key ingredient (eggs in my case), they would have to run to the store to get more. Or, they could just find something else to eat.

That's the joy of the "Home Store" concept Shelf Reliance has established.

No more making frequent runs to the store, buying more than the one thing you needed, spending extra time and more money then you meant to.

Keep your pantry stocked with great food and never go without again!

So yes, you can make scrambled eggs from whole egg powder.

And yes, they are good enough to eat!

  2. Yeah, a #10 can has the equivilent of 236 eggs (19.6 dozen) and at $20.99 a can, that's only $1.06 a dozen. Pretty good! :)
